Jefferson City Police are investigating the apparent stabbing of a Rocky Mount man.
George Nickols II, 31, was transported to St. Marys Health Center early Saturday morning where he was pronounced dead.
Nickols was stabbed in the 300 block of West Atchison Street in Jefferson City.
Jefferson City Police are waiting on autopsy results to determine the cause of death.
Two other people were hurt and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
They have since been released from the hospital
No other victims’ names were immediately released.
The case is being considered a homicide and police detectives are investigating, including what started the attack.
