FULTON, Mo. -

After completing its first winning season in school history, the Lady Indians will face off against Eldon in their first district game Thursday at Fulton High School. The Lady Indians defeated Eldon two times this year, but while head coach Bill Nowicki said the team is confident, they are not over confident.
“It’s always hard to beat a team three times, (but) if we play as we’re capable, we should be OK,” Nowicki said.
Senior Alex McDonald said the team’s goal is to win its first district game, and said the team believe’s in its abilities as long as it plays good softball.
Senior Katie Flaherty added to that, saying the team wants to win at least one game in districts, but also wants to get to the finals.
District play begins Thursday.
