The Lady Lakers took third place in their district tournament Thursday. The team totaled 399 strokes just four points behind winner Rolla who finished with 395. Jefferson City placed second with 397.
Joni Purvis finished second overall in districts, as she shot an 87 and qualified for state championship tournament. Brooke Kelley finished fourth with a 92 and also qualified for the state tournament, which will be played at Silo Ridge in Bolivar, Mo Oct. 20-21.

 The Lady Lakers went into the fifth inning of their opening district game leading Rock Bridge 2-1, but committed six errors over the final three innings to lose 7-2.

The Lady Indians played their final  game of the regular season Wednesday when they defeated Buffalo 14-4.
Alex McDonald earned the win as the starting pitcher in the final home start of her career and allowed two earned runs.

The Volley Mustangs took Rock Bridge to three games before falling 25-16, 27-29, 25-16.
Kelsey Souders led the team with nine digs while Andrea Hees and Kelsi Mueler had five. Cheyanne Stark had a team high five kills.

-  The Volley Lakers improved their record to 17-5 Tuesday when they defeated Hickman 25-12, 25-13.
Volley Laker Haley Baker said one of the keys to the team’s success is they’re having fun.
“It was a pretty good win, but I think we’ve played better,” Baker said. “We were just having fun tonight.”
Baker led the team with 7 kills and 12 digs, while Jessica Smith had 6 kills and 6 blocks.
Head coach Ann Gulshen said Smith and Nikki Branting, who also had 10 digs, played well.
In the first game, Camdenton jumped out to an early lead and built it to 16-7 before finishing off Hickman 25-12.

The Lady Mustangs defeated Tuscumbia Monday 6-0 to improve their record to 12-10.
Elizabeth Gier pitched a no-hitter, as she struck out seven batters and allowed only two walks.

The Volley Indians lost to Skyline Monday 25-22, 25-20.
Kristi Coats led the Lady Lakers with five kills and three service aces. Jordyn Harris had three kills.
Head coach Lee Baker was disapointed his team’s performance.

  The Lady Lakers lost to Bolivar Monday 3-2 in 11 innings.
Camdenton head coach Kim Vest said it was a hard-fought defensive pitching duel where both teams played well.

The Lady Indians finished their regular season with a 12-2 record Monday as they defeated Richland 6-3.
After losing two out of three doubles matches, the School of the Osage won five out of six singles matches.

Monday marked senior night for the School of the Osage softball team, and while it was a day of celebration, the Lady Indians lost 6-0 to Warsaw.
After a scoreless first inning, Warsaw hit back-to-back doubles and plated two runs in the second inning. It added three more in the third to pad its lead to 5-0. It added a final run in the seventh inning.

After completing its first winning season in school history, the Lady Indians will face off against Eldon in their first district game Thursday at Fulton High School. The Lady Indians defeated Eldon two times this year, but while head coach Bill Nowicki said the team is confident, they are not over confident.

 The Laker soccer team improved its record to 10-5 Monday with a 5-1 victory over Marshfield.
Laker head coach Jason Ingold thought the team was a bit sluggish early in the first half. However when Marshfield took a 1-0 lead, Ingold said Camdenton arose to the challenge and claimed the victory.

The Lady Indians continued the Buffalo softball tournament Saturday after it was postponed due to rain in September. In its first contest, the School of the Osage lost to Camdenton 5-1. Katie Flaherty and Shellyanna Luttrell recorded the only two hits for Osage in the contest.
Tiffany Urwiller struck out 10 batters and allowed only one earned run in the loss.
The team committed six errors and allowed five unearned runs, which head coach Bill Nowicki said the team could not do against a team like Camdenton.
“(We) did not play as well I would have hoped,” Nowicki said. “We had been playing well up to that game.”

The B-Mod feature had plenty of tight action Saturday night at the Lebanon Midway Speedway. Pole setter Colt Cheevers took the opening lead from Steve Muilenburg with Reggie Jackson, Billy Street and Corey Pope following quickly.
With action tight and quick, Ted Ballinger moved around Pope to get into the top five as Cheevers and Muilenburg were battling hard.The first yellow waved on lap 10 for TR Phillips bunching the field up.

The Lakers defended their home field and won the Laker Shootout last weekend. The team allowed no goals over the final two games.
Their first match against Hannibal was a back-and-forth affair that eventually went into sudden-death overtime tied at four.
Drew Whitney scored his second goal of the game in overtime to give the Lakers the win. Rayder Bennett also added two goals in the match while Nate Buttram added one.
Head coach Jason Ingold felt this win put the team on notice that they’d have to bring their best game in order to win.
