Doris A Holt, 74, of Lake Ozark, Mo. passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Mo.
She was born January 5, 1934, in St. Louis, Mo., a daughter to Jeff and Ruby (Carson) Anderson.
Doris worked for Lake Ozark as the city clerk from 1986 to 1998 and later became treasure of Lake Ozark Fire Department. She loved to travel and was self educated in a lot of areas, due to her vast interest in reading. She had a great sense of humor, loved to cook especially pies and loved animals. She dearly loved her husband, children and family and will be sorely missed by them.
Surviving are her husband Don; two step sons, Michael Holt and his wife Debbie of Florissant, Mo. and Matthew of Osage Beach, Mo.; one daughter, Karen Maggard and her husband Steven of O’Fallon, Mo., two grandchildren; Alex Maggard and Tim Holt and his wife Sheryl; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2008, at the Hedges Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach. Visitation will be held Monday 5-6 p.m. prior to services.
