James E. DeGrado, 75, of Camdenton, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Mo. 
He was born Sept. 11, 1932, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Emmandale and Rose Dellutri DeGrado.
Jim served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was a devoted husband to Lora Lee Filip DeGrado of Camdenton; a beloved father to Sue Schomer and husband Robert of Plainfield, Ill., Diana DeGrado of Countryside, Ill. and Guy DeGrado and wife Teri of Bolingbrook, Ill.; and a loving brother to Sally Ingram and husband Richard, Mary Ann Gillespie and husband Bryon, Rose Petrauskas, Charles DeGrado and Anthony DeGrado.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
