Myrna Frances Dickey, 76, of Sunrise Beach, Mo., passed away Saturday, August 2, 2008, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Mo.
She was born March 30, 1932, in Des Moines, Iowa, to John W. and Frances D. (Pierce) Morrison.
Mrs. Dickey graduated from North High School in Des Moines in 1950.  Married on Feb 17, 1951, to Gene Sheil, to this union three children were born Richard Michael, Robert Paul and Belinda Marie.
She later married Robert “Wayne” Dickey on March 7, 1969, and received two bonus children, Ronald Wayne and Laurie Lee.
Mrs. Dickey is survived by her children; sons Michael Sheil and his wife Diane of Des Moines, Robert Sheil and his wife Paula of Pella, Iowa, and daughter Belinda Ethington and her husband Boyd of Des Moines; step-son Ronald Dickey and his wife Pat of Altoona, Iowa, and step daughter Laurie McLain and her husband Gary of Altoona, Iowa. 12 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, one sister Dodie Hosmer, two nephews and three nieces; her companion Roy Hawks and his two children; as well as other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and half brothers Orville and Meredith Morrison.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. Aug. 6, 2008, at the Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Mo. Cremation will follow the visitation at Lake Area Crematory in Camdenton.
