It’ll be an old-fashioned good time. An open fire, an old iron kettle with a wooden paddle for stirring, a touch of sugar and hundreds of freshly peeled apples are the main ingredients for the annual Apple Butter Days hosted by the museum in Linn Creek.
Volunteers spent much of the this week peeling and coring the crisp apples and slow cooking batches of apple butter and pies for the annual fall fair.
The museum’s Apple Butter Days & Craft Fair has become a Camden County tradition with many who come early to stock up for the winter months ahead.
