Four women believed to be soliciting prostitution services at a Lake Ozark hotel were arrested by undercover officers during a sting operation triggered by an Internet Web site ad.
Charges are pending in Camden County. Three of the four suspects were booked and released. The fourth suspect is being held on an outstanding charge from another county.
The suspects, believed to be from the Jefferson City and Columbia area, had allegedly agreed to have sex with an undercover officer for fees ranging from $270 to $400 an hour.
They were allegedly advertising for customers in the lake area with ads that promoted having sex with a pregnant woman. The only connection between the suspects appears to be the type of ads they were running on the Internet. 
The arrests were the result of a joint effort between the Camden County Sheriff’s Department Special Operations Unit and the Lake Ozark Police Department. The ages of those arrested ranged from 18 to 22 years old.
Three of the four arrested were between three months and eight- months pregnant. Officers put the sting together after coming across the ad soliciting customers in the lake area.
Once the encounters were arranged, the undercover officer would meet the suspects at the hotel and agree on the services and the price. Once the money exchanged hands, the suspects were taken into custody.
Camden County Sheriff John Page said no one wants prostitution in their community, but especially not when it endangers the welfare and safety of unborn children.
