Camden County, Mo. -

Three suspects are in custody and a fourth is wanted for questioning in connection with an early Thursday morning shooting in southern Camden County.
Two victims suffering from shotgun wounds to the head were taken to hospitals in Lebanon and Springfield.
One of the victims was also reportedly shot in the arm.
The extent of their injuries was not released. A relative of one of the victims apparently took them to the hospital before the incident was reported. The victims were apparently shot while in a vehicle.
The shootings occurred around 6 a.m. south of Camdenton. The shootings were reported to Camden County by the Laclede County Sheriff’s Department after they were notified the victims had sought medical treatment.
A vehicle that belonged to one of the victims was found by the Camden County Sheriff’s Department near the junction of Route P and Snelling Road in the Decaturville area not far from the Laclede County line.
There was apparently an exchange of gunfire between the victim’s vehicle and a burgundy-colored vehicle located at a residence on Snelling Road.
The owner of the residence did not know the victims but was familiar with the subject in the burgundy vehicle, police said.
The owner of the burgundy vehicle is still being sought. He is described as a white male in his mid-30s with graying hair and a muscular build who goes by the name of Jake. There may be damage to the front fender of the vehicle. No license plate information was available.
As of press time, three subjects were in custody but no charges have been filed.
Based on what deputies found, there may have been a second shooting within a mile or so of that location, according to Camden County Sheriff John Page.
Deputies have been canvassing the area trying to determine if there were any witnesses to the shootings.
Page said deputies have not been able to determine what led to the shooting. It was unclear if any of the suspects were from Camden County. The victims were from Laclede County, he said.
Names of victims and the three suspects in custody have not been released.
