Carlos Morales says when he told people he was going to build a new business development in Eldon, they told him he was crazy.
After spending a number of years building movie sets in Los Angeles, Calif., he knew he could make anything happen.
Now, without the help of any type of tax incentives, Morales is seeing a restaurant and three stores with highway frontage open.
Morales is the vice-president of B.A.C.E. Investments, LLC.
Standing in front of the strip mall Thursday, he quickly described the project.
On one end is the Mexican restaurant El Patron, on the other is Cellular Connection. Both have already opened.
Sandwiched in between will be a small loan-lending company, which is also opening a branch in Camdenton.
The last store opening people can take their used printer ink cartridges to be filled or recycled, Morales said.
