For the second time in less than a week, the Missouri Water Patrol was called to the Big Niangua Arm to investigate a suspected drowning.
The body of a 63-year-old man was recovered from the lake early Thursday evening near the five mile marker of the Big Niangua.
According to the Water Patrol, the victim had last been seen standing on a seawall looking down at the water. About 15 minutes later, his body was found floating face down in the water near the seawall.
