Morgan County, Mo. -

A Kansas City, Kan., man has been arrested after attempting to lure a 14-year-old to Lake of the Ozarks.
Edward Lawrentiew, 57, is awaiting extradition back to Missouri on charges of two counts of felony possession of controlled substances and one count of felony sexual misconduct with a child.
The investigation into Lawrentiew started last week when the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department received information that several juveniles were being videotaped in the nude by Lawrentiew.
According to a news release issued by the department, during the course of the investigation Lawrentiew was attempting to entice a juvenile to come to his lake home. He had played a video of three juveniles removing their clothing and swimming in the nude.
At the time of the video, the juveniles were estimated to be at or around the ages of 9, 11 and 12. The video was shot at his home outside the Stover area.
Morgan County deputies contacted the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department and provided them information about the case, which allowed them to obtain a search warrant.
Lawrentiew was arrested in Kansas City.
Officers also executed two search warrants of his residences in Morgan County.
Officers seized several items, including the controlled substances, some of which is being examined further, according to the news release.
Lawrentiew is being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
