The cause of a fire that destroyed a vehicle parked at a residence is under investigation.
While the fire is not listed as suspicious, officials are trying to figure out what happened.
Damage to the Jeep Cherokee is estimated at $20,000.
The fire was reported Tuesday at 2:13 p.m. on Pine Lake Drive. Within 10 minutes, firefighters brought the flames under control and managed to keep it from spreading to the home. The garage door sustained minimal heat damage.
Osage Beach Fire Protection District units were assisted by the Mid-County FPD.
There were people home at the time. No injuries were reported.
