Lake of the Ozarks, Mo. -

A Missouri Water Patrol officer scanning the 26-mile marker before dive teams arrived, located the body of a missing Colorado man around 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
He was found next to a sea wall in about one foot of water, according to information provided by the Water Patrol.
Dive teams had searched throughout the day on Wednesday using sonar and dragging the area where 18-year-old Anatoly Dmitruck was last seen.
Teams were going to start searching a larger area Thursday in hopes of locating the body.
Dmitruck was last seen around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday when he jumped off a rented pontoon to go swimming with some friends near Hawk Island at the 26-mile marker.
The victim jumped in, splashed around like he was in distress, went under and did not resurface.
The friends immediately starting searching the water themselves and called law enforcement.
According to the Water Patrol’s report, Dmitruck did know how to swim. He was not wearing a personal flotation device.
The Water Patrol dive team arrived early Wednesday morning.
The water is about 30 feet deep in the area searched.
Water Patrol said the search was made difficult by underwater trees and debris.
